One old and one new

I am continuing with a bag that I started a week or so ago and I want to make sure that I get it perfect so I take my time over it.

I have also got this new idea for a bag. I started cutting it yesterday and could hardly wait to make a start today despite the fact that it is January 1st. We are not expecting any visitors and will not be going anywhere so I may as well be doing something I like doing anyway! So here is the first picture:
