Japanese string bag

This is something completely new - a Japanese string bag! I was asked if I could make a small bag to go with an outfit for a wedding, the fabric would be provided as well as the idea for the bag.

The fabric is a beautiful Irish linen, the bag is really quite simple but looks delicate like a flower. The real colours are better than on the photograph:
