Very popular S&J series

I finished another commission of the S&J series. It is again different from the original bag: instead of a slip pocket at the back, it has a zippered pocket.

S&J bag with a twist

I have used the pattern for the S&J bag to make a shoulder bag with two handles attached to the bag with eyelets and hooks. The fabrics I used are faux suede and cotton with printed dots. This is the first time I am using this system for two handles and this is what the prototype looks like - without words:

S&J Series

I have finished the last (at least for the time being) S&J bag. This was a commission.

When I started this series I wrote a tutorial with lots of pictures for this bag in three different sizes and I have been very pleased about this. It makes it so easy to just repeat the steps by looking at the pictures and cutting the parts according to the notes next to the pictures. I think I will start doing this for every bag I make from now on. It takes a bit longer for the first bag but any further bag is very easy to make even if you have not made this particular model for quite a while.
